Our Core Values

We believe that a healthy church must have clearly defined core values. By core values, we mean those biblical commitments that define who we are and are considered necessary for the life, stability and future viability of this church. The core values that we embrace are as follows:

  • Expository teaching that’s clear, biblical, relevant, and Christ-centered (Acts 2:42-47: Col 1:28)
  • Weekly observance of the Lord’s Supper (1 Cor 11:17-34)
  • God-centered worship (John 4:24)
  • Giving sacrificially (2 Cor 8:9)
  • Unity without uniformity (1 Cor 12:13)
  • The priesthood of all believers (1 Pet 2:9-12)
  • Every member ministry (1 Pet 4:7-11)
  • Reaching the lost at any cost (1 Cor 9:22b)
  • Praying with authority (1 John 5:14-15)
  • Plurality of elders (Titus 1:5)
  • Building up believers for the work of ministry (Eph 4:11-16)
  • Diversity of worship styles (Eph 5:19; Ps 150)
  • Loving people as they are (1 John 3:17)
  • Maintaining healthy families (Col 3:18-21)
  • Qualified male leadership (1 Tim 3)
  • Impacting our culture (Matt 5:13-16)
