Most of us have heard the expression, “The handwriting on the wall.” In the message we will hear this evening, Pastor Brian Grant will take us to the 5th chapter of Daniel, where that expression originates, to learn the lessons from five bad choices made by Belshazzar, the powerful king of ancient Babylon.
We will hear the first part of his final message in the series. These messages have had as their focus, five Solas that came to define what the Reformation was all about.
Pastor Grant brings the concluding part of this message entitled, “Key Pillars of the Christian Faith - Part 2”
Pastor Grant takes up the second Sola; Sola Gratia: Latin for ‘Only Grace’.
Pastor Grant will continue to speak on Sola Scriptura: Latin for ‘Only Scripture,’ which holds the Holy Scriptures to be supreme and inviolate in all matters of faith, practice, and conduct.
Pastor Grant introduces us to the first of the 5 Solas of the Reformation; five uncompromising features of faith that came to define the elemental differences between Protestants and the teachings of Rome.
As we pick up the message and hear it to its conclusion, Pastor Grant makes his third point in prerequisites for walking in the Spirit.
Pastor Grant takes us to Galatians chapter 5 and gives us a list of prerequisites for a life characterized by walking in the Spirit.
